Applying Car Wax-Steps

Waxing gives a natural sheen to the car. It protects the car’s paint from the harsh weather changes. The wax forms a thin and transparent layer over the car that covers the minor scratches and deep chips on the car surface. It also seals the paint and prevents the water from coming in contact with the metal and hence slows down the corrosion process. For the best results, the car wax needs to be applied regularly. Here are the few steps you should follow to make your car look like brand new. Go online and research the different car wax brands. Carnauba is the most readily available car waxes.

It is the most hardest natural wax which is produced from the leaves of the carnauba palm. Stick to these waxes for the best results. Prior waxing wash your car thoroughly. It is advisable to wash your car twice. This will help remove dirt from the surface of the car. Dry the car completely before waxing. Do not wash and wax your car in hot. If it is a sunny day, park your car in the shade. Take a sponge and put a tablespoon amount of wax onto it. Rub the wax on the surface of the car in clockwise circular motion. Apply the wax to the entire car and then return to the section from where you started. By this time, the wax will be completely dry. Take a terry cloth towel and remove the wax in a counterclockwise direction. Do not use much of pressure to assure you are not removing the whole of the wax.

Switch the clothes so that you are not putting the wax back on your car’s surface. After you are finished, take a clean towel and go back over the entire car. This makes sure you do not leave any wax spots on the surface of the car. After two hours, take off all the wax from the area. A wax can remove a tough stain or mark which has not been removed after washing. To remove such stains, cover it with a layer of wax and let it dry completely. Make sure you use a good quality fabric softener to wash the clothes. This assures that the towel will not scratch your car in the future. A good car wax stays for about three to four months. So you can wax your car after every three months using a good product. For buying car wax online, contact us.
